Find Out More About SuperCDMS SNOLAB
The Experiment
SuperCDMS SNOLAB will be the successor to the previous generation of CDMS experiments. It will be located deep underground at SNOLAB in Canada to provide shielding from high energy cosmic ray particles and from radioactive decay byproducts.
Search for Dark Matter Particles
The collaboration is searching for dark matter particles with masses smaller than ten times the mass of the proton. Detecting these particles would open up a window into a completely unknown set of new particles.
The Collaboration
SuperCDMS SNOLAB is an international collaboration. Important work is progressing at all partner U.S. national labs and at a number of U.S. universities. The project also benefits from international partnerships with institutions in Canada, France, the UK and India.
